HA! and LwtS Doodles

Practice and redesigns. In a good mood, so I doodled all this today. I'm going on a lighthouse tour later! YAY FIELD TRIPS

So yes, this... XD It was only a matter of time before I started trying to draw the rest of the Shortman/Pataki family... and Phil, well... I don't know. TBH, I was never happy with his design... at all. Maybe that's why I draw him so much. I'm trying to figure out wtf is wrong with him, lol. I could never quite get him to look how I wanted... until now.

See, I always pictured him with really messy hair, like he was getting into fights a lot with other kids and getting it ruffled by his family members 'cause he just looked so darn cute--I wanted him to look a little wild, like his personality. I based his original hairstyle off a pic of Grandpa Phil when he was a kid, but it somehow didn't quite translate like how I wanted it to... Prolly 'cause I couldn't draw for sh*t, haha.

As for Amanda -- She always had Helga's hair in my mind. I have old, unfinished One-Shots I wrote before LwtS even existed where she had long, sunshine blonde hair--very straight, very shiny, very Helga. When I drew her as a kid, I wanted her to have messy ponytails, like she stubbornly refused help from her parents putting them up but she had weak little seven-year-old hands so she could never quite do it right, and they were always falling down and getting tangled. But somehow that just made her look like Arnold. It didn't work how I wanted it to. Thus--this.

The rest of this is just practice and doodle fun. I really enjoyed drawing Arnold and Helga here, hehehe.

AND BIG BOB'S RIDICULOUS SON OF A CAMEL CROWN WAS THE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE. For the love of cheese, Bob, tone down the opulence. How small's your dick gotta be for you to need a crown that big?
